Antique Victorian Bed Warming Pan

An antique Victorian bed warming pan, believed c.1870, the copper pan somewhat battered by the ravages of age and use, the hinged lid with eight vent holes showing the remains of previous decorative engraving. The pan has a turned handle, probably beech, displaying a genuine patina of previous wear and use. Obviously this has been a much loved and treasured utensil over the years which would be appropriately attractive for decorative display!
